Marc has over 25 years of international experience in leading and growing small and mid-sized businesses in various industries and geographical markets. As a C-suite executive, board member and owner, he has been involved in all aspects of strategic planning, from definition to execution. Marc has also played a key role in special projects such as securing financing, intellectual property protection, strategic partnership negotiations, and various M&A transactions.
Shortly after graduating from business school in 1989, he joined Schleuniger, a global leader in wire and cable processing technology. In 1991, Marc moved to New Hampshire with his family to start Schleuniger’s North American headquarters as its CEO. As one of the group’s owners and CMO, Marc was responsible for Schleuniger’s rapid international expansion in North America and Asia, building sales up to $130 Mio. prior to selling the business to a publicly traded company in 2008.
In 2010, Marc became a partner of Pharmatron, a small global manufacturer and distributor of solid dose testing equipment for the pharmaceutical industry. After joining the organization, the group successfully developed and introduced new state-of-the-art technology and was acquired by a strategic buyer in 2013.
Marc has owned a small confectionery manufacturer and retailer in Southern New Hampshire since 2008 and has developed a management team that successfully runs day to day operations. His favorite role there is assisting with “Quality Control”. Since 2015, Marc has been actively involved in funding and supporting startups as a member of 10X Venture Partners.
Marc grew up in Switzerland where he graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Bern University of Applied Sciences in 1989. He has three children and enjoys biking, hiking, boating as well as playing tennis, chess and piano.
